Dr. Lamia Soghier, MD, MEd, MBA, CPHQ, is a distinguished neonatologist and Professor of Pediatrics at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. With board certification in neonatology and over two decades of clinical and administrative leadership in academic healthcare settings, Dr. Soghier is a highly respected expert in her field. She is dedicated to delivering compassionate and effective neonatal care while advancing medical education and quality improvement processes. Her exceptional communication and leadership skills enable her to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including neonatologists, nurses, pharmacists, and respiratory therapists, ensuring optimal care for her patients.

Lora Hart, CPM, LM – Midwife
Lora Hart, CPM, LM, is an experienced and passionate midwife dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care to low-risk families through her practice, Ohio Home Birth. With nearly a decade of experience as the Owner and Primary Midwife, she specializes in prenatal care, labor and birth support, home birth midwifery, postpartum care, and newborn care up to six weeks. Lora is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for families during one of life’s most transformative moments. As a Certified Professional Midwife and Licensed Midwife, she combines evidence-based practices with holistic care to empower families and ensure positive birth experiences.
In addition to her clinical practice, Lora serves as Clinical Faculty at the National College of Midwifery and as a Clinical Preceptor for the North American Registry of Midwives, mentoring the next generation of midwives with her extensive knowledge and hands-on expertise. She is also a Master Trainer in neonatal resuscitation and postpartum hemorrhage management, certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics and Mercy in Action.
